That was the case for a custom garage build in Westwood, NJ, where our team took down the existing dilapidated shed and put in its place an attractive new build, as well as extended the driveway. A New Shed that Fits the Client’s Needs

Our team demolished the existing shed to create a blank canvas. The desire was to have a new build with fresh siding, windows, roofing, and gutters, and of course plenty of space to store landscaping, outdoor, kids’ toys, etc. That’s what our team executed, fit to the client’s needs and budget.

The New Garage Build

The existing shed was dilapidated and was not providing a safe or clean place for storage. Working in excavating, foundation work, and demolition, our team had the skills needed to take down an old building and put up a new one. Starting with a conversation, we get a sense of your needs, timeline, and budget and then map out a plan that exceeds expectations.

Extending the Existing Driveway

Taking down the old structure gave our team the chance to assess the land around it and see how it can best be used. In removing the old shed, we also saw potential in extending the driveway. We elongated the driveway and added a wall around it so more vehicles could fit. That retaining wall helped keep the extension elevated and on level with the rest of the driveway which was going to be repaved.

Building a New Garage 

At the foot of the extended driveway, our team built a brand new 14×12 foot garage for storage. Like a walk-in shed, this smaller garage is great for storing bikes and kids’ toys, tools and landscaping machinery, and whatever else may be needed for outdoor use.

The garage has maintenance-free vinyl siding, meaning it will be easy to clean and affordable to take care of. Plus, there are new gutters and architectural GAF shingles that will keep the garage safe from the elements, rain, snow, and sun. Built to last, the garage also lends lasting value to the property.
