For this West Nyack, New York homeowner, it was finally time to give their bathrooms a more modern feel  – so we came in and made it happen. Two bathrooms – both outdated, and ready for a fresh start! 

We renovated a full bath and a powder room, gutting both down to the studs and rebuilding them into spaces that feel completely new. Different sizes, different purposes, different personalities – but the same level of care in every corner.

Demo down to the studs

Both bathrooms were gutted completely, and stripped down to the studs so we could start from scratch and build something that lasts.

The home also had a concrete slab which meant we had to get underneath it all with new pipes, sewer lines, and new water lines. The plumbing layout stayed in the same location (keeping the project on schedule and on budget), but everything was fitted with new valves throughout.

It’s the work you’ll never see in the after photos. But it’s exactly what makes everything else hold up.

The Full Bathroom Renovation: Bold and Modern

The floor sets the tone immediately on this one. The graphic diamond-within-diamond pattern in white, gray, and charcoal kind of grabs you when you walk in. It’s bold without being loud, and it anchors everything else in the room.

The walk-in shower is lined with white veined tile, and we added some honeycomb mosaic tile for added texture. Matte black fixtures run throughout: handheld showerhead, sleek controls, black-framed glass doors. 

Our clients opted for a natural wood vanity that brings just enough warmth to balance the cooler tones elsewhere, and rounded everything out with fresh paint and clean trimwork.

The Powder Room Reno: Warm and Welcoming

The homeowners went with a  deeper walnut-toned vanity in this bathroom, and brought in the same white countertop. Gold hardware throughout warms everything up and modernizes the room.

Underfoot, classic black and white penny tile nods to tradition in the best way. The walls are a soft, creamy neutral, and we’ve got super crisp white trim here as well. This space is warmer, quieter, and refined in a way that feels timeless rather than trendy. 

It’s a small room, but we think it makes a big impression. (Which is exactly what a powder room should do.)
